a "spotted lake" in the desertlike hills north
of Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada. Those lakes contains
lots of minerals, mostly sodium and calcium sulphates. Most
of their water evaporates in summer, so the surface looks quite
different in fall compare to spring when the spots are invisible.
