shows the Kilauea-Iki-Trail, seen from the crater-rim
of the permanent active Kilauea-Volcano on Big Island, Hawaii.
This 4 miles / 6,5 km trail starts at the rim and crosses the old
Lava-lake from the 1959-eruption of this volcanoe. Some still
acive fumaroles could be seen along this trail. The smoke in the
background rises up from the active Halema'uma'u-Crater, 5km away.
